A spokesperson for tonybet commented on the findings:

“Tickets to Formula 1 Championship races are some of the most in-demand in international sport, so it’s expected that they come at a premium cost. However, with loyal fans and new – due to the sport's increasing popularity by new demographics thanks to the likes of Netflix’s ‘Drive to Survive’ – keen to be in on the action, tickets will be increasingly snapped up as the season progresses.

“The study provides useful insights for fans keen to estimate how much to budget to be able to attend some of the most hotly anticipated race events of the year. It is particularly interesting to see that all three American races place in the top five most expensive – highlighting the growing fanbase for the sport in the USA and the potential calibre of guests in attendance, often including A-list celebrities.”

All costs are estimates.

Sources: F1 Ticket Store, F1 Destinations, F1 Experiences, other ticket retailers and official track websites. Hotel prices are sourced from booking.com.

Methodology:

  • The costs of the lowest General Admission ticket, lowest Grandstand ticket and Paddock Club (or other luxury package with pricing available) were obtained.
  • All tickets are three-day passes – exception for Monaco noted below.
  • Average hotel prices were obtained on booking.com using star-rating search filters, and the track locations were used as the pinpoint search locations. The 2025 equivalent dates were used as part of the search for races that have already taken place. Results are based on available accommodation prices.
  • NOTES:
    • Las Vegas Luxury Ticket used in study as Paddock Club prices only available upon request;
    • Monaco hotel stays are based on Nice, France hotels for larger availability;
    • Monaco General Admission is only a Sat-Sun ticket;
    • Monaco tickets are sold day-by-day, so tickets are combined for the grandstand.

All the best,
