Carlos Alcaraz’s Instagram followers soar by over 500,000 since Wimbledon victory

Carlos Alcaraz’s Instagram followers skyrocket by over 500,000 since Wimbledon victory – as new data reveals how much he could earn per post

Experts at sports betting and casino site Tonybet have revealed that Spanish tennis player Carlos Alcaraz has already gained more than 515,000 Instagram followers since taking home the Wimbledon cup on Sunday afternoon last week.

The athlete became a four-time Grand Slam champion after winning his second consecutive Wimbledon title, beating out Novak Djokovic for the second year in a row – his Instagram followers have soared as a result, according to online analytics website Social Blade.

He now has a staggering Instagram following of more than 5.8 million.

The 21-year-old thrashed Djokovic in straight sets to retain the title, preventing the legendary Serbian tennis player from claiming a landmark 25th Grand Slam victory – a feat that would’ve crowned him the sole player with the most Grand Slam titles, regardless of gender (he is currently tied with Margaret Court).

TonyBet used Inzpire’s Instagram earning calculator to analyse the tennis star’s online presence and found that Alcaraz could earn up to €27,600 for a single sponsored Instagram post.

It is a career defining moment for Alcaraz, who has already taken home one Grand Slam title this year – and seems to be in prime form for the upcoming US Open that starts next month.

Commenting on the findings, a spokesperson for Tonybet said:

“Alcaraz is undoubtedly the latest tennis sensation, and his impressive record speaks for itself. The fact that he has defeated Novak Djokovic three times now is a testament to not only his talent, but his ferocity in taking on such a successful opponent.

In fact, Alcaraz has the potential to become one of the most accomplished tennis players of all time. Neither Djokovic, Federer nor Nadal achieved four Grand Slam titles at 21 years old, making Alcaraz more decorated than each of the iconic trio were at his age. Not only that, he’s also collected his fourth major tournament trophy in fewer matches.

It’s no surprise that Alcaraz has experienced such a huge surge in popularity online due to his extraordinary achievement. His young age makes him both inspirational and relatable to Gen-Z, who are witnessing the making of their generation’s tennis titan.

It’s safe to say that this is only the beginning of Alcaraz’s success, and his rising follower count highlights the huge number of people watching his career with anticipation. It will be exciting to see the new heights he’ll reach in the future.”
